She’s also super smart. She is the constant voice of reason among Xander and his friends. She is both smart and heroic.
People sometimes ask me if Sugarbeet Falls is a book for boys. It’s not, but if it were, it would be because boys need to know that girls like Skeeter are strong, smart, capable heroes too.
